Key Information:

To participate in NQ Games for Swimming, you will need to register on TWO platforms

NQ Games Registration Portal (Play HQ) and the
Swimming North Queensland Portal (Swim Central).

Included in of registration cost is:

Free North Queensland Games Athletic Cap and Bag for first 3000 registrations.

Please note: Those who fail to register across both platforms will be denied entry into competition.

Swimmers need to register across TWO portals to successfully enter the Swimming event at the 2026 North Queensland Games

All participants across the North Queensland Games incur a $39 Games Fee - with the first 3000 registrants receiving a registration pack with a free bag and North Queensland Games hat.
Swimming North Queensland will charge an additional $5 per event fee on the Swim Central portal (meet name is 2026 NQ Games LC Transition Meet) to cover the costs of running the event.

Terms & Conditions

1. Competition is conducted under the laws of Swimming Australia Ltd and with the permission of Swimming Queensland.
2. Competitors must be a current financial registered member of a club affiliated with Swimming Queensland as at the closing date of meet entries. Swimmers must be registered as “COMPETITOR.”
3. Age of Competitors is calculated at the first day of meet.
4. Swimming up is not permitted in Individual Events.
5. Referee has the power to control events at his/her discretion.
6. Competitors will Marshall using the “Self Marshalling” Protocols.
7. ALL EVENTS are TIMED FINALS.
8. Rule Tolerance applies to all 7 & Under 25m events only.
9. Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd in the following.
50m - 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15&O
100m & 200m IM – 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15&O
200m Free – 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15&O
400m Free – 11,12,13,14,15&O
Mult-Class - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place using the multi-class point score.
10. No points or Age Champions.
11. Online Entries only via Swim Central https://swimcentral.swimming.org.au/
12. Entry times are not essential; however, NTs will be placed in the slowest heat. Club Night Times if on Swim Central are Late Entries will be accepted up to 30 minutes prior to the commencement of competition each day, subject to lane availability. A late fee will apply.
13. Entry Fees are:
Individual: $5.00 per entry (includes 50c SNQ surcharge)
7 & Under 25m events: No Charge
Late Fees: $30.00
14. Entries Close: Individual Entries 24th April 2026@ 11.59 pm
15. Admission is charged online at $5 per swimmer. An electronic copy of the program will be emailed to clubs for distribution.
