Key Information:

To participate in NQ Games for American or Flag Football, you need to register on the NQ Games Registration Portal (Play HQ).

Included in cost is:

• Free North Queensland Games Athletic Cap and Bag for first 3000 registrations.

Registrations CLOSE Saturday 25/04/2026!

Game/Competition Details (subject to change): 

• American Football Queensland will be hosting a Tackle Exhibition Game as well as a Tackle Players Clinic.
• There will also be a free coaches clinic available (please register through the Play HQ Portal).

American Football

10am - 12pm: Coaches Clinic

12pm - 2pm: Players Tackle Clinic

3:30pm - 4:30pm: Tackle Exhibition Warm Up/Prep

4:30pm - 6:30pm: Tackle Exhibition Game

Flag Football

9:30am - 1:30am: Flag Football Clinic

1:30pm - 6:00pm: Flag Football Tournament

All participants across the North Queensland Games incur a $39 Games Fee - with the first 3000 registrants receiving a registration pack with a free bag and North Queensland Games cap.

American Football Queensland charges:

• $26 for Flag only
• $81 for Tackle only
• $92 for both Tackle and Flag (both sports are available on the Play HQ portal during registration) 
• $0 for Coaches Clinic (Note: the $39.00 NQ Games fee is also not applicable for the coaches clinic)
