Here's your chance to design the official mascot for the 2026 North Queensland Games!

Think of the animals, plants, and natural beauty unique to your hometown or region in North Queensland. Your design should celebrate local pride and bring our Games to life!

Create your submission at home using the template, or design in store at Mount Pleasant Centre and drop off at the dedicated area inside MTP for your chance to win!

Theme: Australian flora or fauna inspired by where you live

Design Requirements

Must be your original work – no tracing, copying, or AI-generated content
Submissions should include:
- Your mascot drawing
- A name for your mascot
- Your Name, contact email and phone number (or a Guardian’s)
- A short description (max 100 words) explaining how your design represents local Australian flora or fauna

Prizes

Winner - $500 cash prize + $100 worth of North Queensland Games merchandise. Design will be incorporated into the official mascot for the 2026 North Queensland Games

2x Runner Up - $200 worth of North Queensland Games merchandise

Who can enter?
Open to children and young people aged 1–16 years. Entrants must live in North Queensland
