His Dad recently built him a half pipe so he can practice as much as he likes at home. Kase looks up to his local mentors Maison, Josh, Dean and Sam who he regularly gets to skate alongside. His dream is to compete in the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.
Kase placed 2nd at CQ Open in his division and is currently equal 3rd in the Australian Standings in his division.
Skateboarding
Very important, to get into the national standings I have to regularly travel interstate. Having the NQ games in Townsville is just as good as having state of Origin in Townsville!
Dad always tells me ‘While you’re talking you’re not learning anything so make sure your listening!’ – my other advice is “don’t give up!”
My mentors from Sk8M8, mason, Dean & Josh, they always give me good guidance and advice to improve my skating.
Townsville
Skate! I like going to Murray skate park. I also play golf, rugby league and boxing.
My sister got addicted to the sport around the Olympics I got sibling rivalry and said anything you can do I can do better!
Competing since start of 2022, 8 months since started skating
To go to the XGames or Olympics
Yes, I was sponsored very early on by a WA skateboard company called Folklore, they have given me heaps of skateboards and helped me build a community of all ages. I have given a couple of them my sponsored boards and made friends of all ages. Its such a positive culture.
