Age Policy
A player’s age will be determined as of  31^st December 2024

Basketball Boys U14 (2011-2014)

Basketball Men’s U18(2007-2008)
Basketball Men’s 18+(2006+)
Basketball Men’s 35+ (1989+)

-Basketball Women’s

Basketball Girls U14 (2011-2014)
Basketball Girls U16 (2009-2010)
Basketball Women’s U18 (2007-2008)
Basketball Women’s 18+(2006+)
Basketball Women’s 35+(1989+)

-Basketball Mixed

Basketball 3×3 Mixed U18 (2007 -2010)
Basketball 3×3 Mixed 18+ (2006+)

Fee
Basketball Sports Fee $55 (incl gst) for one event + the NQ Games Fee $33 (Inc GST)
Each additional entry will incur a $55 (Inc GST) Basketball Sports Fee.

Sports Notes 

• Players are not permitted to play in more than one team in the same age group competition, the 3×3 competition is an exception to this rule
• Players can play in the 3×3 competition in the same age group
• If players are playing in more than one age category the Sports Hosts will not look at individual games when scheduling. Players must be aware of their own scheduling that may result in conflicting games
• You must pay a separate sport fee for each team in which you participate

• The 3×3 Basketball competition will be conduced under the following rules please click here
• The 3×3 Basketball competition must have a lease one female player on court at all times
• The Basketball competition will be conducted under the Federation of International Basketball Association (FIBA) rules
• The competition is presented by Cairns Basketball

Individual registrations closing date Thursday 2 May 2024 at 23.59pm
Team creation closing date Tuesday 30 April at 23.59pm (individuals can still join a team but new teams cannot be created)
