STUART BOTTING

Stuart has been an active member of the Townsville Baseball community from 1995 up until today. During that time he has competed regularly in the local baseball league in addition to numerous local and state competitions.

FRANK DE BATTISTA

Frank joined Special Olympics in 2014. Frank works at PCYC and participates in tenpin bowling and table tennis; he has been selected for Special Olympics National Games. He hopes to make worlds in the future.

Powerlifting has been TJ’s love for the last 2 years and he attends the mainstream competitions with the Australian Powerlifting Union. TJ hopes to attend worlds for Powerlifting in the future.

ABBY REINCASTLE

Abby Reincastle is a 16 years old level 9 gymnast at Gymnastics Townsville. She trains 18+ hours a week and last year was named overall State Champion, which further lead her to compete at her first Australian Championship where she was named National Champion for level 8.

SHARON MILNE

Sharon was introduced to Pickleball thanks to Sam Mac from Sunrise on channel 7. Mac was at a venue down south during Covid early in 2020. It seemed like a fun sport, so Sharon enquired to Pickleball Australia to see if it was played in Townsville. The Pickleball Townsville group were already up and running, so she went to their Thursday afternoon session with Michelle Jones and absolutely loved it. Already the President for Southern Cross Dolphins Community Club, Sharon showed her committee how cool the sport was and suggested they add it to their current activities.

Donna has a long history of selection in National events for tenpin bowling. Donna was selected in tenpin bowling for the 2014 Special Olympics National Games in Adelaide and has also been selected for 2022 Special Olympics National Games in Launceston for tenpin bowling.
